Ride & Remember Minimize

When you ride, remember the following:

  • You must wear a helmet.
  • Have your bike ready to roll at the arranged ride-time.
  • Always carry an extra tube and means to inflate it.
  • Have a tail light in case you have a mechanical failure and get caught out after dark.
  • Bring a positive attitude and have fun!
  

Women On Wheels is a community of people who love to get outdoors and enjoy the satisfaction and thrill of biking.  This community is built around women who come together for friendship, fun, and fitness.

 

WOW is based in the Mount Airy, NC area, which is nestled in the foothills of the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains.  This area provides terrain for the novice rider, as well as the experienced rider looking for a good workout.  If you have a bicycle and are looking for a way to make friends and get in shape at the same time, Women On Wheels is for you.

Cathy needs to have at least twelve orders for jerseys before she can submit the order.  She currently has six. Jerseys will be the same as the picture except SLEEVELESS.  It has the WOW logo and is pink and white with a blue stripe. The price is about $47. Just a reminder, the jerseys run small!

Bike Tip of the Week Minimize

Group rides start and end at Grace Moravian Church on North Main Street in Mt Airy. On Sunday the ride will leave at 2:00 pm and last about 2 hours.  On Tuesday and Thursday both the "A" group and "B" group meet at 6:00 pm and will normally ride until about dark. The "B" group ride is a no drop ride.  We might decide to have a "C" group this year. HELMETS ALWAYS REQUIRED.  ALL RIDES ALWAYS LEAVE PROMPTLY AT THE STATED TIMES.
